
Uniforms
Standards
Good grooming should be encouraged. Students should attend all classes clean, neat and tidy. Presentation is an important part of developing a sense of personal pride.
Once settled into the school all children are expected to wear the correct uniform.
Boys
Tiny Tots, Pre-Primary, Primary and Level 1
Black tights or shorts
Plain white T-shirt
Short white socks
Black ballet shoes with a single white elastic across ankle – sewn in the correct place
Level 2 to Advanced 2
Black tights or unitard with suitable undergarments
Plain white tank top or men’s leotard
Knee length white socks
Black ballet shoes with a single white elastic across ankle – sewn in the correct place
Girls
Tiny Tots, Pre-Primary, Primary and Level 1
Pink leotard
Pink ballet tights or short pink socks – tights must be worn for exams
Pink ballet shoes (not Jiffy’s) with a single pink elastic across ankle, sewn in the correct place. (Ballet shoes should be a perfect fit)
Pink chiffon wrap skirt with ties
Pink crossover in winter
Levels 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6
Black leotard
Pink ballet tights
Pink ballet shoes (not Jiffy’s) with a single pink elastic across ankle, sewn in the correct place. (Ballet shoes should be a perfect fit)
Black chiffon wrap skirt with ties
Black crossover in winter
Intermediate, Advanced 1 & 2
Senior students may wear a dark purple or black leotards with a matching chiffon skirt. (Navy leotard and skirts for exams)
Pink ballet tights
Pink ballet shoes a single pink elastic sewn in the correct place, or demi pointes
Pink ribbons on pink pointe shoes
Please note: If the temperature is over 35*girls are not to wear their skirts. Tights are optional.
Hair
All hair needs to be secured back and out of the face
Girls should have their hair securely in a bun - see our Social Media for demonstrations of different hair types!
Boys with long hair should have it secured back in either a ponytail, bun or with a headband.
